Privacy policy

How katsuba.ua collects, uses and protects visitors’ personal data.

Last updated 2 October 2026

Who processes the data

The controller of personal data is Oleksandr Katsuba, owner of the official website katsuba.ua. For any questions about personal data, write to press@katsuba.ua.

What data we receive

  • Data you send through the contact form: name, email and your message.
  • Technical data recorded automatically by the hosting server: IP address, browser type, date and time of the request, page address.
  • Your cookie choice, stored in your browser (see the Cookie policy).

For visit statistics the site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited). Analytics is switched on only after you consent in the cookie notice and collects de-identified data: pages viewed, the referring source, device and browser type, approximate location (country, city); IP addresses are truncated. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. The data may be processed on Google servers outside Ukraine and the EU. The site uses no advertising tracking and builds no visitor profiles.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Replying to your message — based on the consent you give by submitting the form.
  • Keeping the site running and secure (spam and attack protection) — the owner’s legitimate interest.

Retention

Messages are kept for up to 12 months after the last reply; server logs for no more than 90 days. The data is then deleted.

Who receives the data

The data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. The site is hosted by Hostinger, which stores data on its servers as a processor solely to provide hosting. Data may be disclosed at a lawful request of public authorities.

Your rights

Under the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and the GDPR you have the right to be informed, to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict processing, to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights. To exercise your rights, write to press@katsuba.ua.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS; only authorised site editors can access messages.
